hey so I just recently upgraded to the Samsung ego 850 sad which is 500gb but when I put it in it only shows as 32gb. can someone help?
Take the drive out and use a SATA to USB adapter like this one: Startech 2.5" SATA to USB adapter If you can reformat it and install the OS using it from another Mac then your problem is a bad HD SATA cable (which is common in this series). If it fails then you’ll got a bad unit (which is rare).
