Hello, Does anyone know how you change the display of the new A5 2016? I have opened the phone on the display side but the flex cable goes to the back side of the phone (unlike the old A5). Do you have to open the backside (a risk of breaking glass) or can you lift up everything inside to disconnect the cable (no screws visible on display side)? Thx

Although I am not familiar with this particular samsung phone, I have done screen repairs on the s6, s6 edge, and note 5. All of them require the back glass to be taken off and then screws are underneath. A lot of heat is required to loosen the adhesive holding the back glass so make sure the phone is turned off.
Its same as a3 2016 you have to open the back screen to unscrew the motherboard. No other way but its not difficult u need a hair deyer and a raser blade and slowly slowly peal it of like orange. :-) ive done it myself.
You need to open up the back first. So you take off the back cover with a heat gun, remove all the screws (also don’t forget to take out the SIM tray) and then you can take off the midframe. After this you can disconnect the LCD flex cable!
