Hello, I have a MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Mid 2015) model 11,5 running macOS High Sierra (10.13.6) and I was was thinking of upgrading the internal SSD to a Samsung 970 EVO. Is this SSD compatible with my MacBook Pro? Right now it has a Samsung 960 EVO. Which Samsung SSD’s are compatible to install in my Mac? Thank you.
960 evo and 970 evo are the same size and use the same connector so I can’t see why not. Or you could use a configuration of [linked product missing or disabled: IF123-123-1] but it would be more expensive so I wouldn’t, 970 evo pro is a similar size and uses the same connector as well so you could use one of those for marginally faster write speeds
