Hello, I have a Samsung 60" smart tv when I plug it in it blinks red 6 times nothing on the screen only dark blue purple color, checked the sound works good, checked the screen with flashlight nothing appears on it. Checked the capacitors visually nothing unusual, only a darker spot on the power board and don’t know if this is something serious or not (you gonna find it in the last image? One more thing, when I unplug the Tv it flashes red 5 double flash and then a break another five a break and another five. Idon’t have a millimeter but ordered one online. Can anybody please help me with it I really want this thing to work. Thanks in advance.

Hi @marcomonsterr, Disconnect the power cord from the TV and then remove the back cover and disconnect the cable between the mainboard and the power board. Reconnect the power cord to the TV and switch on the TV. Do the backlights come on the screen? Is this the same dark blue colour that you are talking about? Once you get your DMM (digital multimeter) and if you know how to use it (as you will be testing where potentially lethal voltages are present) check that the power board is supplying the correct voltages to the mainboard and the TCON board. The voltage levels should be printed on the power board near the mainboard cable connector. If the voltages are correct then the problem is either the TCON or the mainboard.
