Hi Guys, I have a At&t Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge that suddenly stopped booting up. The phone was left charging over night and the next day, it just started doing this. The phone turns on, but it keeps going in loop with the 1st screen that says “Recovery Booting” in blue text:
and then the 2nd screen that says “Installing system update”: -
I have tried various key press combinations and so far i am only able to get the phone to go into “Download mode”. I found a post on the official at&t forum that indicated that this maybe a hardware failure so at this point im really just trying to get my files off the internal memory. When i put the phone into download mode, it is recognized by Odin but i havent seen any of the drives show up in windows. I am wondering if anyone has suggestions on what i could try to recover the files that are stuck on the internal storage? thanks
hi bud what happens if you try going throught the android menu does ity still freeze at that point? or will it allow you to make a selection?
You would need An UART cable and z3x box to remove frp lock.
