Hello, I just replaced the screen (and frame assembly) of this s7 egde, and everything seems to be working fine, however, I cannot make or receive calls. When I try to call, the phone app shows dialing for a second and then shuts off, and when I try to call the phone, it goes straight to voicemail. I do however get LTE data and can send out and receive text messages, oddly. Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you.
there are couple of reasons for this. one might be your antenna cables are not on properly. the signal antenna is connects from your SUB PBA (daughter board) to your main PBA board. another problem which I think might apply to you if you changed the frame to a new one is that the frame has RF(radio frequency) issues. you would have to replace the frame. when getting a new frame, it is best to get a refurbished OEM frame than getting a copy one as you won’t be able to find OEM brand new frame in the market.
