Chosen Solution
I was mowing and all of a sudden the engine woke up and I thought it woes going to blow up. I engaged the blades and it slowed some the rpms down some but wow it was a cutting machine and I went threw 2 ft of grass like it was only 2 inches. I made to the barn and shut it off . I started it up after it cooled on idle and it just rock and rolls. The throttle linkage is working and everything seems to work.
Pardon my spelling. I tore down so I could see all of the working parts for the throttle linkage, choke etc. everything moves spring all attached not sure of a governor on this model but I am stumped. It is like I bored this mower 3rd over and gave it airplane fuel.
Did you find out what the problem was my lawnmower did the same thing. Now when I start the engine it revs uncontrollably
