Chosen Solution
Hi good day every one. I have a Drum pad(native instrument maschine ) Which has several rotary encoders in it. However these rotary encoders are spinning on their own( autoautomatically changes the value) I dismantled the device and found there are some white resdue near the rotary encoder pins on the pcb. My questions are as below. Does the white agent in the pcb causes the problem? If yes how to clean it? How to clean inside the rotary encoders? If otherwise please provide me a solution. Thanks in advance P.s sorry for my bad English.
You can clean inside the machine with isopropyl alcohol 90%+. If this doesn’t fix it maybe a solder connection is bad or partialy burned.
