I have had this NTG4 mic for years but I cannot use it anymore because one of the pins fell out from the XLR interface. When I insert the pin I can kind of use it but it doesn’t sound right. Muffled with lots of noise/static. I cannot for the life of me figure out how to get the mic apart! Does anyone on earth know how these things come apart? Thanks, Justin

Hi, Here’s a teardown video for a Rode NTG3 microphone that may help. Hopefully it is not too different to the newer model. Here’s the ifixit Repairing Rode NTG2 disconnected/loose wiring guide that may also be of some use.
