When refilling for the rinse cycle, the water intermittently fails to shut off and may run indefinitely until I catch it and advance the control knob.
Try to readjust the drain tube that leads into the drain pipe. This happened to my new washer.
@lrgilmore Check the hose connection to the water level pressure switch is tight. The water rising in the hose creates the pressure to operate the switch to turn off the water. Does it do this on different wash cycle types i.e. delicates as well as normal wash etc? What is the model number of the washer?
