Right Channel Of Earbuds Works Intermittently However Earbuds Are Ok Lg Stylo 3 Plus

I have a pair of earbuds I use with my LG Stylo 3 Plus (LGM-470 TELUS for reference) that only one side will work intermittently; it is the right side, the left works fine, and the inline remote works fine, so it is not the cable on the earbuds. However, if I plug them into a laptop, for example a Latitude 3340, both sides work perfectly. I have a feeling the headphone jack would need cleaning; how can I do so?

@uv937 a few drops of isopropyl alcohol 90%+ and a few puffs of a pressurized air should clean it. Just hold it upside down while doing so as to not blow to much crud into the phone. If that does not work you may have to consider replacing the jack.
