I damaged the ribbon cable that connects the home button with the board. They told me that i m gonna have to replace the whole screen.
Giorgos Perikleous , If not talking about the cable attached to the home button. That connector/cable is attached to screen, screen replacement required. Find a guide(link#1) to replace screen assy., yes you will have to reuse your home button,(link#2) is a replacement screen that can be purchased or you can do a search for one from another seller. The interconnect cable is built into the backlight panel. For average people, it is not possible to replace just that, so you need to replace the whole screen.
