My thunderbird crashed on me today and when I relaunched it it didn’t display any of my emails in it. I have tried restarting the macbook and relaunched thunderbird to no use. It starts as if starting for first time. Help!!!

I doubt that anything else might be helpful if rebuilding database was not able to bring your emails back. I looked online and found a utility by the name Mail Passport Pro. Check if it is able to get your emails from Thunderbird mbox files.
