Chosen Solution
I currently have a 15’ MBP that needs a logic board(820-3787), however i was sent the wrong one(820-3662). While it fits, i used one i had to test laying around (same Part number) once powered on the fuse for the LCD blew. Before sending in to get the fuse fixed i was wondering if it was a compatibility issue or maybe a bad cable on the LCD? Old LB#is 820-3787 and the test board i ruined is a 820-3662-a any help would be greatly appreciated!
Not compatible! A VW Beetle engine won’t fit a Ford F150 truck ;-} Same here, very different system architectures.
