Apple has just about put me out of business since the advent of the Retina displays. Even when I can find a part, the cost is almost 50% the cost of a new machine. Are there any third party displays that will work. I don’t care about a logo.
check ebay for displays, there are good displays for about one third or half the price apple is asking. search for it this way if you have a macbook pro retina 15”: A1398 (insert model (for example, mid 2014)) lcd assembly. hope this helps.
