I bought a iPad air model A1474 from our local flea market…. It has been reset but apparently I need the apple id which I do not have…. Can I still setup the iPad or have I been ripped off…

Ipad Air Wifi only ? what was right months ago is not more actually. For a reason I don’t know (leak or other thing) Idevice Wifi only can have Find My device deactivated for few bucks (10 €) . With FMD deactivated you can reset the Idevice without any problem. I don’t know how it’s possible , especially if you consider that in the same time GSM devices are still very difficult /expensive to reset if FMD is activated . I tried to Google that, but I don’t find exactly what can explain that nowadays it’s so easy to unlock a Wifi device whereas it’s so complicated to do the same for a GSM one!
