Chosen Solution
Hello! I have purchased ,Item code: IF163-054-2, battery with the screw driver set, of the bits which is too big for fan screws. Now I am thinking of purchasing ,Item code: IF145-299-4 ,screw driver bits set. Since I am not familiar with the bits names, I assume I need 3mm Torx one, the one that looks like a star. My question is do you think the set has the 3 mm star head? I am not sure what does T3,T2 stand for exactly. Thank you!
The fan uses a T6 Torx #6 screw as seen in the guide: MacBook Pro 13" Unibody Early 2011 Fan Replacement
Check out the guides here: MacBook Pro 13" Unibody Early 2011 Repair They list the required tools for each repair section there. As for the bit-set, yes it has the correct bit. I own that screwdriver set and it has every bit needed to fully disassemble the laptop.
