Hi I would like to replace faulty thermal fuse in my handhold blender Bosch, guy in Maplins said I can not solder it so could somebody tell me how to replace it and when I checked I would call it little mother board there wasn’t any soldering compound around faulty thermal fuse so maplins guy was probably right so how can I replace it without soldering
Had the same issue, thermal fuses are a common issue on Bosch Hand blenders. I used an ESKA 770.121 to fix the issue on mine. Just suck out the white plasticy thing that is located where the Live wire is connected to the PCB (see picture) It does need to be sucked (soldered) out. Its a regular through-hole component. You need to be carefull when soldering. Lead based solder melts at at 183C, the thermal fuse blows at 120C…so solder fast !
