Hey there I have quite an unusual question with my LG G4. I am trying to repair the screen but my issue is that I have a dual sim model, and the screen I purchased is supposedly for the single-sim model. I have replaced the screen and when turning on the phone the screen does not turn on. My question is will the different model screens cause compatibility issues? Or is the replacement screen I purchased faulty? I put the old screen back on just to check if I hadn’t bricked my phone and it still seems to be working. Thanks for any help
Hey so it turns out the LG G4 dual sim model does use a slightly different screen. I can’t remember the part number sorry. I’ve replaced my phone since, but I purchased a screen+digitiser which worked - found it on alibaba advertised as a dual sim compatible screen. So if you have purchased a screen made for a single sim model, it will not work on the dual sim model.
