I was replacing my iPhone 11 earpiece speaker and I lost a Phillips screw that holds the assembly inside the phone. Will the speaker still work or will it have issues if only 1 screw is missing from the assembly?
Hi I think it will work fine as the speaker has separate connections and doesn’t use the screws for anything apart from holding itself to screen I would replace it if given the chance though but it should work without it Hopefully this helps Any questions please ask Thanks:-)
It will most likely work, but if you are worried about it you could try to find a replacement screw. You can buy the sets of all the screws on eBay and a bunch of other places. Also make sure you replace the water proof seal when you finish the repair.
