Hey Guys, I have an iPhone X. The ear speaker is bad, so it distorts callers voices and make it hard to hear. I was going to have a local shop fix it, but they told me what ya’ll already know. They can replace the ear speaker, but if they do, my FaceID goes away. What is an iPhone X with no FaceID? My question follows: If I buy a genuine Apple ear speaker ribbon assembly and a genuine Apple front facing camera assembly, and replace both parts, would I still have FaceID? Is there any way to replace an ear speaker and camera, if necessary with OEM real parts and keep FaceID?
Unfortunately you would need to transfer components of the original flex to the new one. This requires soldering. For a better description I would check youtube
