I purchased my samsung s6 edge plus phone about 2 years ago from a store in USA where the phone came factory unlocked. ( the store was no a regular store like walmart etc) . The model on my phone is Samsung G928G and I need to replace the charging port since the pins broke. When browsing on ebay for replacment charging ports I only get the following model options. G928V G928A G928P G928T For Verizon, At&t, T Mobile, and Sprint respectively. Will any of the charging port replacement boards work for me to replace the one on my phone? Thanks in advance.
Take the phone to a reputable phone repair shop that does microsoldering to replace the charging socket via soldering. Replacing the whole charging port daughter board requires removing the screen which is not a good idea as there is a high chance the display panel will get damaged.
