I ripped the cable for the copper tape when transferring to a new screen. Ordered front camera and proximity assembly, plus the new copper shield piece. Question is, how do I attach the copper shield cable to the new camera/proximity cable?
Don’t worry about it. The copper tape is there for EMI shielding, and you probably won’t notice a practical difference without it. In the future, keep the tape attached to the shield and transfer it as one piece. jessa
