How can a damaged charging port be repaired/replaced?

Watch from beginning up to 3:45 to removal of the PCB with the charging port. From here it is clear the port is soldered in, so you can try to find a whole new PCB, or desolder the old port and solder in a new one. Hope this helps.
The whole PCB is not that expensive (around $25), but I can’t find a place where it is in stock. The process of replacing the whole thing seems pretty straight forward.
