While trying to adjust the tri wing screw for the clicker of my MacBook Pro Mid 2010, I striped the screw. I could possibles drill out the screw but can’t find a replacement screw for it.
Some auto or hardware stores have a compound for stripped screws. You’re not holding elephants you just want the screw to stay where you set it. (I’m assuming you can turn the screw to the proper height). Gasket compound or superglue may also do the trick. If this answer is acceptable please remember to return and mark it.
