Chosen Solution
I just replaced the screen and everything was going great, but i had put the home button bracket on wrong so i opened the phone again. The screen worked great before i opened it again, but after i opened it up again and fixed the home button issue the screen started to glitch, then display white boxes on the top of the screen, then it faded to black. I thought it had just died, so i charged, but it still wont display anything. I connected it to my computer, and it detected it, but no response on the screen.
First of all try holding the power + home button at the same time for 15 seconds then try turning on the phone again. If that does not work try the below. Unplug the battery, unplug the screen then plug it back in then plug in the battery see if it turns on with display on the screen.
