I replaced my Pixel 3a screen and the new screen is glitchy: The ambient display shows at full brightness and when transitioning from ambient display to lock screen, the screen flashes white at full brightness.The keyboard requires significantly more pressure than on previous screen. Therefore, when typing quickly, many keys are wrong or missed. When I disable the ambient display, the flashing goes away — I can press the lock button and the lock screen appears without issue. How can I diagnose the cause? The previous screen was cracked, but otherwise fine, so I assume it is the new screen. But, is it possible that something else is causing the problem? I followed the directions on iFixit and encountered no problems.
