Hello, I am looking to replace the LCD screen of my Asus ROG Strix G531 GT laptop. It currently shows only a white vertical stripe of 3-4 inches on the screen when I turn on (I accidentally sat on it :-( ). I checked the part number and found that it is LM156LFGL. However I can’t seem to find any stores that ship to India. Some of the stores that do ship to India charge more for shipping than the price of the screen itself. Are there any other compatible screens that can work with this laptop? I don’t care about having a 120hz display, just anything that works with this laptop. Thanks in advance.. Regards Sarath
Hi @sarathkcm It may be easier to find more suitable suppliers or alternative displays by searching for the Asus part number for your model laptop screen, rather than the screen manufacturer’s model number for the screen. The link shows the Asus part number for the screen plus all the alternatives that are available to use for the laptop. Search online using the Asus part number only and see if that results in some better options. If you do find one that suits, verify with the seller first that it is suitable etc, before purchase. Also “unavailable” with this supplier doesn’t mean that it is unavailable everywhere.
