I replaced the home button on my iPhone with a third-party one, and the device literally would not turn on. When the home button cable (next to the display ones) is not connected, the phone will boot. Within a moment of connecting the new cable, the device always powers off and won’t power back on until I disconnect and reconnect the battery. Any ideas? Help would be very much appreciated!!!
It’s a bad replacement home button. You’ll need to get another one.
