Chosen Solution
I have replaced the display cable I received from Ifixit, and after restart the screen is completely black. The computer tone is heard upon start up, but nothing shown on the screen. I performed a P RAM on restart to see if that would do anything, but alas nothing. Any suggestions?
Hook up an external monitor to help you diagnose the issue.
