I Recently got a new disc drive for my ps4 1115a and after installing it the drive wont take the disc it just makes the usual grinding sound but this time twice and does the dispense sound but when i try inserting a game it won’t let it go in it did let it go in once but it would show as unrecognized but now it wont let the disc go in again

If you need to replace your optical drive you must remove the daughter board on the original optical drive assembly and install it on the drive you intend to install in your PS4.
