Hey! So I just replaced the battery of my iPhone 5S using the instructions provided by iFixit but now the side switch to put it in silent mode won’t work. The vibrating motor works fine since when I get a call/text it’ll ring and vibrate. However, when I pull the switch down nothing happens, no vibration and my phone still rings. Please help!!
sounds like you have maybe damaged the ribbon thats connected to the volume and switch
