Recently replaced screen on iPhone SE (2016) after some water damage. The replacement was mostly a success with everything turning on and functional. However, when waking the phone up from idle, the screen is remaining blank. No image and touch doesn’t work but the screen does illuminate. It doesn’t happen every time I pick up the sleeping phone, maybe about 1:3 or 1:4 times I pick it up. I haven’t found any pattern in what triggers the issue. Restarting the phone fixes the problem on bootup. Thoughts? Thanks!
I’d the phone is water damaged it can do whatever it wants. My best recommendation is take it to a repair shop and take the motherboard out and pull the covers off of the motherboard and put it a was I’d a sonic cleaner with ec cleaner and clean the housing and hope you get luck.
