Chosen Solution
I have replaced the screen and force touch sensor, it powered on but was not responding to touch. I force restarted it and now it is frozen on the Apple logo. Not sure what could be the problem. Any help is appreciated.
Either the lcd cables were damaged during the repair (micro-soldering repair) or one of the pins on the replacement screen was bent.
