Hello all! I replaced my lightening board connector but it won’t turn back on now. The reason why I replaced it is because my previous one sounded like I was in a wind tunnel when on phone however voice memos sounded fine. It was an issue bc I talk on the phone a bunch for work. Things that happened during the replacement: When peeling off previous working one, I didn’t realize the all the way bottom right tab that gets screwed in did not come with the rest of the lightening connector. I only noticed it when I tried to put the new one on and it wasn’t screwing in right. The other thing that happened is some of the screws are not going back exactly since it seems they are starting to get stripped. It also seems like the top left of the new lightening connector keeps on wanting to pop off due to tension of placement so I tried to move the connector over a bit. Other than that I was using a Monday through Sunday pill container to make sure I had screws for each steps. It won’t turn on now and since I accidentally ripped the old one I have no way of troubleshooting. Anybody have this happen to them? ANY help would be amazing. Update (03/18/2020)

The screws that got stripped, were they ones on the board? If so, you may have caused long screw damage by putting screws in the wrong places which can result in an issue like this. Double check that all of your connectors are seated properly, especially the display and battery connectors. If you can, post some good pictures of the inside to give us a better visual.

I added some pictures to the initial post!

Try to dis-connect the dockconnector cable from the motherboard and let it start from battery only. When the iphone boot up on battery then you know the dockconnector need to be replaced / redone your dockconnector repair.

I tried all of these things and they did not work. I wonder if I got another bad part

I just bought a new part and tested out to see if that is the reason and still nothing. Any ideas?
