Hi, I replaced a cracked LCD screen following your Instructions. Went down smoothly and the Display shows everything except that the colors are completely off. (A bit like the Comic Book effect in Photobooth, if that helps) Took it apart again and checked all the connections, they seem to fit. Microphone, iShight, antenna etc. work well. Does anyone have an Idea? Could it be a Software issue? My Mac: Model A1181 / 1.83 or 2.0 GHz Core Duo processor Thanks for the help! What a super site!!! Leon
Hook it up to an external monitor to try to isolate the problem. Let us know your results and we can proceed.
Make sure all the connections are tight and clipped to the insert of the connections. Also make sure you bought the right Resolution, otherwise a different resolution screen will make your new one won’t work.
