Hello, I have a MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Mid 2014) and I changed my keyboard too and the keyboard is working, but only they keys zxcvbnm,. are not working (nothing happens when I push this buttons), all other keys are working. I have also replaced the trackpad on my MacBook Pro, but after the replacement it isn’t working. :( I would be glad for every hint. thank you very much in advance. Adi
The keys z x c v b n m , . all use the same scan line which implies the keyboard and/or its ribbon cable connection to the logic board is bad. The Trackpad issue could be a similar issue depending on how you replaced it. The ribbon cables can easily be damaged I would suspect that’s the issue here. What does the onboard diagnostics tell you? Restart your system and press the D key.
