We replaced the ignition because of a lost key. Had the key programmed to the truck but now it won’t start. The locksmith that programmed the key said it’s something electrical. I’m afraid something may have been damaged when the old ignition was removed. Any ideas?
earnhardfan when you are saying “ignition” I assume you are referring to the ignition lock. If the key turns etc., but you do not get anything from it, double check the work by checking the wiring first. See if you even get power to the lock. Let us know what year and model your Mazda is
