Hi I changed the housing on an iPhone 8 and the metal bracket around the charging port wasn’t present on the new housing. I tried to remove it from the original and it was hard to remove and bent quite a bit. Is it possible to buy new brackets and replace or can these not be replaced? This is way old but I came across the same problem, it came with the part, but not installed. It’s one of these https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/SILVER-Replac… I can’t find anything on how to fit it correctly.
