Chosen Solution
I replaced the hard drive because of rebooting problems and applications were so slow, but now it goes through Utilities restore from timemachine, says good to start then nothing but grey textured screen ! Where am i going wrong? Maybe the hard drive wasnt the problem, is there anything else it could be?
Did you format the drive for Mac. Did you provide for the racing fan issue with a non-Apple drive?
