Chosen Solution
I replaced the fan this afternoon on my macbook air. I followed the Ifixit guide and I thought it went well….. but now the mac will not turn on. The charger is plugged in and the red light is on and the bottom is a little warm. I am about to open it again to recheck everything. Is there a special start up that I need to do after the repair? Any ideas?
You could have likely forgotten to connect a cable? I would especially check the display connector.
