I replaced and calibrated my iPhone 4S’s battery. It easily accepts a full charge, but that full charge drops to under 50% overnight, apparently doing nothing. Can someone please lay out the potential energy-draining applications that might be the cause? Or can anyone suggest ANY other viable reason a new, calibrated iPhone battery cannot hold its charge while apparently doing nothing?
Background app refresh can suck up your battery life. Also, if your phone doesn’t have cell service, sometimes it will keep searching for the network. Try putting it in airplane mode and see if it fixes it; then narrow down the issue.
