Hi ! I just replaced my battery with an ifixit one, but now my macbook just restarts constantly. I tried resetting the SMC and PRAM to no avail. I can only get to the login screen with this battery icon (a warning triangle inside the battery logo) before the macbook just restarts. If the macbook isn’t plugged in, it straight up won’t boot.

I tried to follow the steps here (Battery not detected, won’t charge; strange connector on logic board?), and I can use my macbook without any problem until I reconnect the battery, with the fans spinning like there’s no tomorrow. Thanks for your help !

Boot the Mac without the battery connected and see if works normally..did you check if there is not issues with the battery connector? If you can log check on system report > Power what the battery said if is connected? did you already glue the battery on the top case?
