Hi I have replaced an iPhone 6 battery twice now, the second time it was with a higher performance battery. The apple logo comes on and then the phone shuts off, it does this repeatedly. It also does this unplugged from the charger and plugged in. Any suggestions?

It’s likely that battery has failed, or the Tristar/charging unit has been damaged by a surge from the 3rd party battery as they vary greatly in quality. That said, it may be a coincidence, and its actually a stuck update, or an issue with the NAND chip. You could try DFU mode restoring your phone to try and rule out an update issue, but this will erase your data (if its still even accessible at this point). If youre not sure how to, you can put the phone in DFU mode, plug it into your computer that has itunes on it. Hold the power and Home button, after 8-10 seconds release the power button and continue holding the home button until iTunes recognizes the phone in recovery mode. It should show a blank/black screen. Then try and restore the phone. If it doesn’t restore its likely another failed battery, or some sort of board damage that I mentioned earlier. I hope this helps!
