Chosen Solution
I replaced the battery using ifixit battery, kit and instructions (MacBook Pro 15" Touch Bar 2017 Battery Replacement). Once it was all put together, the battery percentage displays on screen upon opening screen and plugging power supply in and has charged up to 100%. However, pressing the power button on has had no effect. Nothing comes to life.I have tried SMC, PRAM, Repair/safety mode, disconnecting and reconnecting battery, double checking all connections that were disconnected and reconnected from motherboard etc. Nothing works. Any advice?
