Quick Rundown. replaced the battery in IPhone SE(1st Gen). Managed to break the home button ribbon in the process. Replaced the home button and put everything back together. I have tried to turn the phone and hard reset the phone, neither of which shows anything on the screen or vibrates when i toggle the “slient” switch. I plugged the phone into my laptop and it shows up in itunes but says “There is a problem with your iphone that requires it to be updated and so i updated the phone, but it still has the same problem. And when i plug it into the laptop again i get the saem message as before. When it showed up in itunes, i thought i might have just damaged the screen, but as there is no vibration and the itunes seems to think there is a problem does anyone else have any ideas? Thanks
Thanks for the reply. I think I will give it another strip down tomorrow.
This is the popup I get in iTunes. I have updated it once already and the updated was successful, but when I recconnect to iTunes I get the same message.
