I replaced the battery, and the color on the screen is off. The display seems to work, but the color is faded.
Have you reseated all the connections? Does the display look distorted any? Sometimes you can damage the screen when pulling it off and snapping it back in. I have seen this happen with customers who do repairs themselves and use a bit more force than normal.
This usually happens when there is static between the screen and the battery. All you have to do is take a cloth with a bit of alcohol and wipe it down. Good luck
