Hi - ill be brief. Customers iphone 6S woke up next to it didnt turn on. I replaced battery and charge port several times and see not charge getting through. However when phone is off and plug in charger it will boot. Thinking board level issue ie tristar. Any other ideas ?
Looks like Tristar. If no apple logo is shown with battery disconnected and charger plugged in then it’s a bad Tristar U2 charging IC.
If somethings not working, I always try to reconnect the battery and charging port connectors to see if it will help. If that doesn’t work, you can always try another battery and charging port AND IF THAT DOESNT WORK. The simple answer is that its gotta be a logic board problem.
