This has been my first iPhone repair attempt. I replaced my battery on my iPhone 6 but now my screen has the white lines all over it and it is unresponsive to touch. I’ve checked to make sure all 4 ribbons connected properly multiple times. I did have to use the hair dryer to get the old battery out because i broke the glue strips as I was pulling them out, so that might have damaged something else. Should I buy the full LCD, Digitizer, screen assembly or is it likely that I damaged something else in the process of replacing the battery? Any other possibilities?
Check all cables, especially the display. Re-seat the connectors, make sure their in tight.
