Replace The Optical Drive Of My Macbook Pro Mid 2012 Macbook Pro 13 Unibody Mid 2012

Can any one tell me if I can replace the optical drive of my MacBook Pro (mid- 2012), by the one of my older MacBook Pro 15” A1226 ? I have not been able to find exact iinformations on both DVD drives.
